Norfolk Broads
Four nights dinner, bed & breakfast staying at the Holiday Inn Norwich
Day 1 – Once we have collected all passengers from their agreed pick up point we will make our way to Norfolk calling on the way at Horncastle. This small market town sits on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds making it the perfect place to grab a spot of lunch and stretch your legs before we continue the journey to Norfolk.
Day 2 – This morning we head to Great Yarmouth. The seaside town has all you can expect from a coastal resort whilst having the stunning east coast scenery as a back drop. This afternoon we head to Horning for a cruise on the Norfolk Broads. Sit back and relax as we spend 90 minutes sailing past the countryside that makes the Broads so spectacular.
Day 3
– Sandringham Estate is our destination this morning. Explore the stunning stately home that is the Norfolk retreat of the Royal Family. The house has been preserved in its original Edwardian style and is surrounded by magnificent landscaped gardens. This afternoon we return to Norwich where you are free to discover what the city has to offer before we return back to the hotel.
Day 4 – The Georgian market town of Holt is our destination today. We will board The Poppy Line for a ride through the Norfolk countryside to Sheringham. The traditional seaside town of Sheringham is filled with old-style shops, restaurants and museums all centred round the history of the old fishing village.
Day 5 –
Following breakfast we must begin our return journey to Lincolnshire. On the way we will call at Kings Lynn. The maritime town is brimming with history which dates back to the 12th Century. You will have time to stretch your legs or grab some lunch before we return everyone to their original boarding points.
