Rail & Sail Around Tiverton

Four nights dinner, bed & breakfast at the Tiverton Hotel

Day 1 - You will be collected from your requested pick up point and taken, with suitable stops en-route, to The Tiverton Hotel where porterage is arranged for you.

Day 2 –  After breakfast this morning we will take you to the town of Exmouth where you can spend the morning and perhaps have lunch if you wish before we go to Exmouth Marina for our circular cruise on the River Exe. Afterwards we return to the hotel to relax before the evening meal.

Day 3 – This mornings excursion is first to Bishops Lidyeard from where you will board the West Somerset Railway to Minehead. Late morning we reach the Somerset town of Minehead where you will be able to have lunch if you wish and spend the rest of the day exploring until we take you back to the hotel for the evening meal.

Day 4 – Today we have a special treat as we make our way to the Tiverton Wharf for the Grand Western Canal and one of Devon's best small attractions the last horse drawn barge and one of the last in the country. This is such a peaceful trip with no engines just the trot of the horses hooves and the gentle lap of the water. Afterwards spend the afternoon exploring Tiverton before we return to the hotel in time for the evening meal.

Day 5 – Sadly this morning we have to say goodbye to Tiverton and the lovely Tiverton Hotel and start to make our way back to Lincolnshire and your original boarding points.
